I am delighted you are taking these first steps on your healing & wellness journey. I know firsthand how nerve-wracking & challenging the process of seeking the best therapist to meet your needs can be. I believe in the power of the therapeutic process & I strive to create a safe space for you to be present with your emotions & any struggles you have found challenging to manage alone. Having a non-judgmental space to explore feelings, experiences, & behaviors with someone who can witness & hold space for the full spectrum of the human condition & meeting you where you are is so transformative & healing.

I find it useful to utilize a psychodynamic approach, while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systems, and Adlerian interventions.
I like to think of therapy as the search for balance in one's life. For many, it begins with seeking greater understanding about one's concerns and situation. With that understanding, a new narrative of life's experiences and meaning can be found. The understanding is the first part of change; the rest (which may sometimes be the longer part) is a process of working with self-compassion towards that balance. Although my undergraduate education was in Creative Writing and Fine Arts at the University of Michigan, the most creative process I've encountered has been psychotherapy.

I vehemently believe that with the right tools, our relationships and our sex lives can be the container in which we build the very best version of ourselves. As a relationship and sex therapist, I’ve made a profession in studying those tools – ones that allow us to develop a solid, resilient sense of self that serves as the foundation for a compassionate, enduring, and VIBRANT relationship with the people we love.
