My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced a variety of mental health issues including trauma, attachment disruptions, grief and loss, depression, and/or anxiety. Severe mental health issues, psychosis (hallucinations and delusional thinking), and personality disorders. Suicidal ideation and/or self-injurious thoughts or behaviors. Children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mood instability, emotional disturbance, or anger management. Specialized training in substance abuse across the lifespan. Sports performance. You are not alone. We understand how difficult it is to feel overwhelmed and exhausted and believe you've run out of solutions. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, unsure, and upset about the unwanted things that have and are happening around you. We are here and can help guide you, your child, teen, or partner to develop the insight, understanding, and skills necessary to make life better. All the stress, discomfort, and pain you now feel can reduce, you can feel better. Change, growth, and healing is possible for you.

If you've felt lost, frustrated or feel no one quite "gets you", you are welcome here. As a trauma informed and DBT focused therapist, I believe in the power shame reduction can have in peoples lives, alongside building concrete skills, and unlearning narratives that no longer serve us. I often see clients who may feel at odds with themselves and want to adapt or grow their ability to handle distress. Although change can be uncomfortable, I work alongside clients to rediscover personal strengths and help find a "core" or "root" that may have felt lost or distant. Our world has changed radically in a very short time. The pandemic has created new problems and magnified existing ones. Our interactions with others, even within our families, have changed out of necessity. We live with uncertainty, fear, and anxiety. The "normal" that we knew before, has changed. Stress has taken on bigger proportions. Our mental health, our sense of security may be severely taxed.
