My therapeutic purpose is committed to helping people suffering from everyday life-stressors such as relationship problems, family conflicts, work issues, behavior problems in children and adolescents as well as more complex mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. My goal is to help others find empowerment and self-determination through solutions such as self-care, self-acceptance and effective modalities for change to help resolve problems. My services are aimed at meeting each individual where they are currently at in their process of changing and growing towards self-improvement.

After many years of dedicated work in crisis intervention, I've decided to shift my clinical work to focus on supporting those who give so much of themselves - parents, healthcare workers, teachers, first responders - all of the helpers. My experience in high-stress environments has provided me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges these groups face. I've seen how critical it is to have a supportive space to process experiences, develop coping strategies, and maintain balance in life.

During the years, I have advanced my training into divorce mediation and custody mediation. I have also expanded my clientelle to include people who have long-term illness with pain. I work with health issues to help people learn to better adapt to their condition while also finding and concentrating on creating healthy lifestyle choices and personal calmness. The human experience of anxiety is normal and adaptive. We would not be adequately prepared for important challenges in life if we did not experience some anxiety and fear. Anxiety is not longer adaptive when it overpowers the person and creates obstacles and challenges that interfere with daily life. At this point, a diagnosable condition may have developed. I provide specialized treatment for adults with the various anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder (social phobia), generalized anxiety disorder, panic, specific phobias, and obsessive compulsive disorder. I also treat conditions that commonly occur with anxiety disorders like depression or sleep disturbance.
