Starting therapy can be a difficult decision for a variety of reasons "“ stigma, resources, daily life challenges. I strive to provide a safe, validating therapeutic experience to help alleviate those challenges. I am here to guide you through every journey of your life's roadmap. Through validation, compassion, authenticity, and understanding I will help you explore yourself, your values, and reach your goals. I received my bachelor's degree from SIU Edwardsville and master's degree from SIU Carbondale.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative space for individuals to gain insight and coping skills that best suit their journey of self-growth. My goal is to provide a non-judgemental, safe, and supportive environment for individuals to become empowered and overcome personal obstacles. I believe that counseling can be compared to the metaphor of how a flower grows. You are the seed, and counseling is the soil and water. The seed already knows exactly how to grow and blossom into a beautiful flower – but it's also important for the seed to have the right type of environment to grow and prosper in.

My practice specialties are: psychotherapy with adults, adolescents, and couples. Issues that I help with are the regulation of self-esteem, relationship issues, as well as helping the client to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and reach personal goals.

Each individual has a different journey to walk, filled with obstacles unique to one's life. I walk with individuals as they explore the depths of their life stories and the impact that has had on who they are presently. In addition to exploring one's past we also deal with the here and now and explore what's keeping one from living freely and more fully in the world. My hope is that through our work together individuals will be able to find more degrees of freedom in their life and their relationships. I specialize in depth-oriented, psychotherapy.

Barbara Giordan, MSW, LCSW, is gentle, and compassionate. Her life is shaped by a passion to help others, and she is honored and privileged to listen to people's stories and come along side those who are coping with life's stressors and mental health issues. Barbara received an MSW from the University of Connecticut and a BA from Fairfield University. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Barbara worked in an inpatient hospital, a day school program, and several private practice settings, including a Christian counseling center.

Elaine's ideal clients are children, adolescents, adults, and couples facing mood and anxiety disorders, school or work challenges, and relationship issues. They need a safe, nonjudgmental space and benefit from strengths-based, narrative, and cognitive approaches. Valuing diversity, they seek a therapist who honors their identity. Their goals include making sustainable changes, achieving self-actualization, improving relationships, and enhancing performance. They desire personal growth, understanding, support, and empowerment to embrace their true selves.

Dr. Jacey Keeney, Postdoctoral Fellow, earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science, with an emphasis on Health Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Penn Medicine, in the Princeton Center for Eating Disorders. Dr. Keeney specializes in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and athletes struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Dr. Keeney has been under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Mullen on the treatment of children and adolescents since she was an undergraduate student at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

Giselle Roszkowski is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois.
