I help clients to draw on their own resources in achieving their goals and assist clients in developing their full potential. 20+ years in working with couples has provided the needed background in helping couples learn new ways of communicating with and relating to each other. Certified in EMDR, I also bring expertise to those who have undergone trauma, abuse or neglect, reprocessing negative beliefs and distressing emotions.

Helene Jacques is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who has been in practice since 2000. She sees adolescents and adults for individual and family therapy. Helene has extensive experience working with clients dealing with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adoption concerns, relationship problems, stress management, medical and health concerns, and post-abortion issues. Helene was trained in an eclectic model of therapy and relies on this knowledge base to select effective treatment approaches for each client or family.

Christine Romesburg, MSW, MBA, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over ten years. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation focusing on PTSD and psychosis from Walden University in epidemiology and public health.Christine works to assist her patients in recognizing their overall thought processes and changing their negative perceptions and beliefs into more positive, motivating insights which will generate the change the patient desires.

I try to create a safe harbor for change for adults dealing with life issues such as self-esteem, relationships, grief or loss, goal-setting and anxiety. I try to get people in touch with their own truth in a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic environment. I enjoy giving couples tools for resolving conflict and learning to fight fairly.

Sheila works with patients, from 15 years old and up. Collaborating with clients, Sheila helps them identify, decrease, manage, and/or eliminate barriers to living a more positive and productive life. Through a “down to earth” attitude, humor, honesty, integrity, and transparency, Sheila earns clients’ trust and builds rapport, helping them obtain the tools they need to help themselves. Sheila earned a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in community agency counseling from St. Xavier University. She works with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, PTSD, and more.

Dave Laurich is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois who has been practicing since 2018. He has a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Lewis University. Dave offers genuine authenticity and impeccable veracity to any number of complex issues. He is always willing to meet the client where they are. Dave provides diligent respect to all presenting issues. Outside of work, Dave enjoys creating art using oil pastels.

As a therapist, I aim to meet my clients where they are and provide guidance and skill development that allows them to meet their goals. Annie Tormos, LCPC, LPC-MHSP, believes that every person has the ability to live a happy, healthy, engaging life, but at times individuals need an objective observer to help uncover what that life looks like. She treats clients ages 15 and up struggling with a variety of challenges, including parenting and family conflict. Annie is a National Board-Certified Counselor. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor "“ MHSP in the State of Tennessee. Annie accepts and treats clients from Tennessee virtually, and appointments can be made online here.

Barbara Giordan, MSW, LCSW, is gentle, and compassionate. Her life is shaped by a passion to help others, and she is honored and privileged to listen to people's stories and come along side those who are coping with life's stressors and mental health issues. Barbara received an MSW from the University of Connecticut and a BA from Fairfield University. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Barbara worked in an inpatient hospital, a day school program, and several private practice settings, including a Christian counseling center.
