In this work, I approach therapy with a strengths-based, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and trauma-informed lens and depending on your needs, I may pull from a variety of Psychodynamic approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Theory, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing (SE) and other body-centered approaches.
Many of the individuals and couples I work with experience anxiety, professional/work-related stress, interpersonal relationship issues, life transitions, depression, and unresolved trauma. Often, clients are looking to reflect on their personal and family history, build self-awareness, process everyday stressors, and/or develop coping skills. In my work with clients, I seek to establish a supportive, empathetic, and consistent relationship that will be the foundation for deep introspection and growth.

My specialties revolve around survivors of domestic violence, LGBTQ+ individuals, and first/second-generation Latinx individuals navigating generational differences in their family systems.
Often times our small wins and progress gets overshadowed by life’s stressors and chaos. In the space I provide for clients, we will always acknowledge and identify all wins and strengths in hopes to build up self-esteem, confidence, and motivation to move towards goals you may have, as well as developing a healthier thought process. If you’re looking for a space free of judgment, a space to make sense of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors (all while sharing some good laughs!), I encourage you to take the first step towards investing into your mental health. It’s not always easy, but it is always worth it.

Together, we'll create space for deep reflection and/or somatic experiencing to better understand yourself, your behaviors, and your relationships. If you feel like anxiety, pressure, or shame are getting in the way of feeling confident and at peace in your body, then please reach out. There is a reason you are struggling now, and together we will explore and give voice to your whole self as a way for you to recognize your inherent worth.

I work from a variety of modalities including relational psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EFT.
You may be familiar with the phrase "feel your feelings, don't think your feelings", but may be unsure of what that actually means. Perhaps you feel berated by your inner critic or stuck in conflict with parts of yourself or past experiences. Or maybe you and your partner/s are looking for support as you navigate attachment wounds. Together, we can work to disrupt patterns of distress as we find new ways to connect and create change. I practice from a harm reductionist/anti-oppressive lens that seeks to help you connect to build on your innate capacity to heal.

My primary area of focus is with children and adolescents (both neurodivergent and neurotypical), as well as their family systems. I believe that regardless of or area of concern, we all need strong and supportive relationships in our lives, which I utilize when approaching behavioral concerns, mood conditions, and challenging family dynamics.

I am Level II trained in Internal Family Systems and often take clients who are seeking to work in that modality.
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you - Maya Angelou. Have you ever found yourself stuck within stressful relationships, triggering environments or confusing emotions? That "stuck" feeling can often lead to stagnation in our day to day lives, and uncertainty about the future. I address these struggles by utilizing a holistic, trauma-informed approach, which incorporates body-oriented, anti-oppression and harm reduction practices. These strategies allow me to focus on the strengths already within each client, while also uncovering past wounds that might be limiting growth.
