Everyone can use a little help when things get complicated; conflict is a part of everyday life. Therapy is a space to genuinely connect and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, your experiences, and your thoughts. Making the decision to start therapy can be a hard one. Whether you’re looking to work through trauma, relationship concerns, anxiety, or difficult emotions; my goal is to help you reach your highest potential, while helping you work through any barriers or obstacles along the way.

Gratefully practicing at New Insights Behavioral Health Services. When people experience trauma or life stressors, it is not uncommon to become overwhelmed with emotions. My passion is to hold space and help facilitate healing in those who are feeling lost, lonely, or needing support. I collaborate with my adult clients to find healthy perceptions of themselves, explore their culture and intersectionality, and find liberation from their trauma by exploring their experiences with gentle curiosity. We will work together to gain skills, recognize core beliefs, reflect on life experiences as early as childhood, and reach goals!

As a Latina, I understand the importance of culturally competent therapy, as well as the battles that the Latino community faces in society and stigma towards mental health. Therefore, it is crucial for me to understand your culture and diversity factors to have a better sense of who you are as a person in hopes that together we can explore ways in which I can help you reach your therapy goals. Throughout my years of practice, I have seen how different issues and symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress can weigh a person down; and obstruct the individual's ability to deal with the present moment.

Note that prior to the first session taking place with the provider, LifeStance will require a credit card on file. LifeStance providers do not accept Medicare or Medicaid insurance. If booking with these, you will be unable to be seen. The most important aspect to therapy in my eyes is the relationship that I am able to build with a client. It is not possible for growth to happen when there isn't a trusting and safe relationship between both client and therapist.

In my opinion, every pregnant/postpartum person should have a therapist by their side! I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and am here to help birthing people, partners, and couples as they transition to parenthood. We expect to feel joyful, but are often unprepared for the difficulties & vulnerabilities that come with this time - confusion, loneliness and isolation, fear and anxiety, difficult decisions, grief over the way our lives have changed, old wounds popping up unexpectedly, changes to our identity - it's a lot! And then there are times when unexpected complications and heartbreaking losses change everything.

Hi. I’m Rebeca Daniels, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I help individuals who want to feel confident in their choices and control over their lives. Most of my clients want to seek recovery from trauma, feel confident in social settings, and have fulfilling relationships with their loved ones. I began my career working with women escaping abusive relationships, and most recently, working with adolescent students from Chicago Public Schools. Both settings centered around crisis intervention, processing trauma, and identity exploration.

As a Hispanic/Latina Mental Health Professional who is also a first-generation Mexican-American, I understand the importance of a person's need to get culturally informed emotional support. It is essential for me to understand where you come from and provide you with the best therapy care to achieve your goals because I believe it significantly improves symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, and more. Additionally, my work in mental health has brought me to various environments where I've seen the impact of not having specialized support while struggling with diverse emotional needs.

I am a licensed social worker with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. In addition to office-based settings, I have worked in intensive in-home treatment and as a school counselor. Many years of my career were spent as a clinical consultant for a research-based, family-focused treatment model, Multisystemic Therapy (MST). Through my work, I have gained advanced knowledge in family and couples therapy, behavioral modification, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My approach is strength-based and solution-focused. I believe that all individuals have assets that can be leveraged to foster change, and that my role is to support clients in living a full and rewarding life. In my approach with children and adolescents, I view parents/caregivers as the experts on their children, and essential partners in ensuring successful treatment. Understanding family dynamics and promoting healthier patterns are special areas of interest, and utilized in my therapeutic approach. I commend you for taking the first step in researching a therapist for yourself or loved one!
