After school openings Fall2024! I use an individualized, strengths-based approach to ensure both child and parent are working towards common goals. My experience in both intensive and long-term services make me well-equipped to help with any range of behavioral needs, incl. ADHD, anxiety, depression, regulation, and other social/emotional needs. My focus is on the building of lagging skills and emotional development to decrease behavioral challenges and increase self esteem. I believe that using evidenced-based assessments and treatment approaches can support families through their treatment journey. My goal is to tailor each evaluation to the individual needs of each child and family in order to ensure that their needs are met and that I am able to answer all questions and concerns. I approach my work with an understanding that each client's experience is unique and I appreciate the courage it takes to engage in therapy. I work to help my client's feel heard and understood while exploring the sources of their difficulty. It is important to me that my relationship with clients is collaborative and I believe that you are the best expert on yourself and what you want for treatment. Sessions typically focus on building insight into how past experiences affect us today as well as developing communication and coping skills.
