I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional, and Certified Forensic Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist. I have over 25 years of experience working with a broad range of emotional and mental problems with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. I offer counseling services regardless of gender, race, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

I have 21 years of specialized experience providing therapy in English and Spanish to children, adolescents and adults. I utilize evidence-based therapies in my practice, focusing on issues that include anxiety, depression, trauma, and marital/ relationship concerns.

I am a psychotherapist under supervision providing services through New Insights Behavioral Health Services. I have several years of experience working in community mental health settings, as well as other outpatient settings and youth-residential care. I have worked extensively treating trauma, depression/bipolar depression, anxiety, substance use, relational issues, and more. I often work with duly-diagnosed patients. I am also trained in psychological assessment. I am presently based at New Insight's Portage Park outpatient offices in the NW side of Chicago.
