“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” - Brene Brown. Sometimes life gets hard, and there are times we are unable to verbalize what we are going through. Other times, we just want to avoid and not feel it all— something that we are not meant to do but we all commonly do.

I have always had a passion for helping others and now have the privilege of living that out in my profession. As a counselor, I have an empathetic approach as I work from both professional and personal experience. I offer counseling services to children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I am passionate about walking alongside individuals facing challenging situations and helping them navigate those challenges, so that together, we can begin a journey of healing, self-discovery, and uncover their vision for life.

Come as you are - I look forward to our journey that begins where ever you need it to begin. Whether an individual is seeking therapy for the first time or looking someone different, I welcome every client into each session with the belief that they are a whole and unique person, not the sum of their issues. I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages (3 - 65) achieve happiness and fulfillment while always building upon their strengths. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and live a healthy and fulfilling life, no matter how defeated or pessimistic they may feel.

I use humor and believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.
I have had the privilege of listening to the stories of those who have entered my office over the last 30 years. I know that every person is unique with their own experience of life. I work with issues such as relationship issues, loss, struggle, betrayal, fears, trauma and internal conflict. Through therapy you will come to understand your experience and develop tools for creating change. I am convinced me that each of us has the ability to heal.I have successfully worked with individuals, couples, families and groups around issues of anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, self-esteem, relationship issues.

Hello!! The right match between therapist and client can be one of the largest factors to therapeutic success. My view of the therapeutic relationship is that of a shared journey between client and therapist. I have been in private practice for eleven years and I continue to be a "client" as well, which I believe gives me sensitivity and insights resulting in a non judging collaborative approach. I see therapy as an opportunity to use symptoms as a gateway to self discovery and growth, as a self actualizing process as we heal wounds, work through issues, and discover self potential.

I work with a diverse group of people but do have some specializations: adoption, illness and disability, depression and anxiety, relationship, family and life transition issues, and addictive behavior.
Feeling anxious or down? Going through a transition and can't seem to adjust? Problems with your teenagers? I'm a veteran licensed clinical social worker who is here to talk with you about your life, your family, and your relationships. Together we can develop ways of coping and even finding new meaning in your life. Send me an email or give me a call, let's talk.
