My mission is to provide individuals, couples, and groups with high quality therapy that is evidence based, client centered, and trauma informed. I practice from elements of CBT, DBT, ACT, and Object relations. My approach to therapy is always unique to each and every client, as each person has a different lived experience that must be accounted for and tailored to fit. I do not believe in one size fits all therapy. As a clinician, I help treat the root causes of the problems in peoples’ lives. The objective is always to put out the fire, not just fan the smoke.

Dr. Goldenstein’s experience within the mental health field began in 2001 and continued until completing his post-doctoral work in 2011. He's maintained independent professional licensure since while offering both assessment and therapy services to adults (i.e., 18+ y/o). His 17+ yrs of graduate level clinical experience includes forensic, neuropsychological, and clinical concerns across many settings, including 8yrs of private practice. Elyse is an experienced clinician with a passion for helping children, teens, families, adults, and couples overcome life’s challenges. She has had the privilege of working with clients in various schools, private practice, and community mental health settings and she utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of each of her client’s. She acknowledges that therapy is hard work and is constantly humbled by the strength her clients demonstrate throughout the therapeutic process. Elyse approaches therapy with a warm and genuine care for others which allows her clients to grow in a meaningful and purposeful way.

Stephanie Ochoa is a licensed clinical social worker who has experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Stephanie is a graduate of Aurora University’s Master of Social Work Program. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to promote positive personal growth and healthy communication. Stephanie has experience treating general mental health and client concerns such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, transition/adjustment concerns, and behavioral management.

Dr. Jacey Keeney, Postdoctoral Fellow, earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science, with an emphasis on Health Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Penn Medicine, in the Princeton Center for Eating Disorders. Dr. Keeney specializes in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and athletes struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Dr. Keeney has been under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Mullen on the treatment of children and adolescents since she was an undergraduate student at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

I enjoy working with young adults and adults in individual and couples therapy. I believe in a client-centered approach to therapy and understand that effective therapy cannot be achieved without an understanding and trusting relationship between therapist and client. Treatment often includes cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches. Each client is unique and these treatments alone may not work for every client, therefore, treatment options are altered based on client need and preference.
