I've enjoyed meeting people of different ages, backgrounds, and life experiences.
Developing a supportive, understanding, and enriching relationship with those I've worked with over the past 13 years has given me the privilege and ability to help clients reach their goals for therapy. I work to nurture, assist, and motivate people to be their happiest selves. The adults, teens, children and families I see are facing a variety of challenges related to anxiety, depression, difficulties at school or work, divorce, grief and loss, family stress, and other life events.

If you are struggling with overwhelming emotions, feeling lonely or disconnected in relationships, or not living the life you want to live, I can help.
I help individuals who feel anxious and depressed, confused and stuck, or easily overwhelmed by " life's" demands. I help people in the midst of emotional crises find ways to cope with difficult emotions, life changes, relationships, work, and personal problems. I work with couples to help restore and build stronger bonds with each other. If you are feeling overwhelmed by emotions that get in the way of living the life you want to live, I will help identify obstacles in your way. I use an experiential approach that helps you achieve balance, reconnects you to yourself and others, and empowers you to live the life you want to live.

By engaging in a supportive, coaching relationship, my clients/ patients have acquired successful social skills in all relationships, a calm self-liking, and effective self-directedness to make needed changes.
"What is the impact of my personality on my self, my significant other, and my family/work relationships?" By answering this questions, clients/patients identify and eventually change self-defeating habits, beliefs, and patterns caused by trauma, substance abuse/addiction, and chronic stress. Signs of negative impact include anger, low mood, multiple marriages, work problems, and eventually job loss.

Are you a woman struggling with carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? Maybe you've been labeled a "perfectionist", or can't seem to find the courage to say no to projects at work? Perhaps you're second-guessing your life choices, not sure what direction to take with your career, relationships, or future? You're exhausted & anxious, tired of constantly problem solving and taking care of everyone else... but yourself? This chronic stress leads to burnout- feeling stuck, helpless, and exhausted. If you're motivated to make a change that helps you rediscover the inner Queen that you are, you've come to the right place

Change doesn't happen in the counseling office, it happens in real life.
Do you ever feel sad or alone and can't figure out why? Or perhaps something did happen, and you're having a tough time accepting and moving forward. Do you get easily frustrated, annoyed, or angry? Are you finding that while in your younger days you had lots of friends, but are now wondering where everyone has gone? I work with busy adults who are struggling with these types of issues, and want to talk to someone neutral to look within themselves to find the strength and tools to feel better and live happier.

I have completed Caroline Myss' two-year CMED training, which incorporates mind-body-spirit principles for healing and emphasizes the use of Archetypes to understand symbolic meanings running through all life events and relationships.
My primary goal is to help clients find the hope and courage to change and heal. I believe that all life circumstances, relationships, and experiences can lead to change and greater self-acceptance. Ultimately therapy helps clients cope with loss and use difficult life transitions to promote growth. In working with individuals, couples, families, and children, I have helped them cultivate resources and develop strengths from very challenging diagnoses and life circumstances. I have helped clients suffering from relationship conflicts, health crises, depression, trauma and loss issues, compulsive behaviors, and anxiety disorders.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
