I like working with adolescents to adults who struggle with concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, major life transitions, chronic pain, and substance use. I believe in the importance of partnership and collaboration as I accompany my clients navigating the journey of their lives, with warmth and cultural sensitivity. Being a native of Puerto Rico, I also love working with the Spanish- speaking community.

While I enjoy working with all clients, I am passionate about working with adolescents through elders; specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and the overall struggles life can bring us, to create a more fulfilling life. I look forward to embarking on the journey towards better mental health with you. I am an EMDR-trained therapist who uses that and other therapeutic modalities to help you accomplish your goals.

I have worked with young children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups with a variety of mental health and behavioral struggles. While I am open to and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, my area of expertise includes therapy with children and adolescents. I have worked with many children and adolescents throughout my lifetime in various settings, including private practice, a variety of schools, a residential school, a childcare center, several sports leagues and more. Despite my array of experience, I have always felt most drawn to the counseling setting.

I am a supervising clinical psychologist, and am passionate about helping people overcome obstacles in their lives, particularly those stemming from traumatic experiences and events.
