I am a National Board Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor providing services to individuals. I provide a welcoming space and offer services that focus on clients' strengths and competencies in my collaborative approach to the therapeutic process. I have a specific interest in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma and individuals transitioning into another stage in life whether it be college, marriage, divorce, or a new job.
My work focuses on identifying triggers that contribute to distress. I take a cognitive-behavioral approach to address how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact decision making. I also provide psychoeducation to help clients better understand the impact of symptoms on their lives. I teach integrative coping skills that can be used outside of session.
