Sharing over 19 years of counseling experience, I love helping people and navigating the journey with my clients. Although this process can sometimes be challenging, it can also be the most rewarding gift a person can give themselves. Whether you are seeking support, healing, closure, skills/tools to deal with life, or strength to continue on; having a friend to come alongside you is worth its weight in gold. Gaining self awareness and confidence to be who you really are is key. This is my passion, helping people to discover true freedom.

Life has its struggles. We have all had to deal with anxiety or depression or other issues that have left us feeling less than satisfied with life. Losing a loved one for example, can be one of the hardest things to go through. These experiences can be challenging and painful. Maybe you have been trying to manage these issues alone, maybe you are tired, frustrated and unsure what to do. Feelings of hopelessness and frustration can be common when struggling with mental health issues. Talking to someone can help lessen that pain and frustration. You don’t have to keep living the same way, things can change.

Does it feel like there is something wrong with you? Are you overwhelmed with daily life, while it seems everyone else is getting along fine? Many people struggle with past trauma, anxiety, or high levels of stress that make it difficult to cope, let alone enjoy life. Often my clients find me when they’re at this point. They’re dealing with PTSD, feel trapped in the past, or have crushing depression and anxiety. I work with motivated adults, those in the LGBTQ+ community, and others who need an accepting and supportive therapist. I know it can feel like you’ll never get better, but you can get through this, and you deserve support.

As a trauma specialist, I love working with clients, both children and adults, who are impacted by traumatic experiences. I use EMDR and other modes of treatment to help client’s explore, process, and understand their trauma. My goal is to help clients heal by developing healthy coping skills, reducing the impact of shame and self-criticism, and change their relationship with negative past experiences. I particularly enjoy working with clients from all different faith backgrounds, assisting them with faith exploration or deconstruction as well as individuals who have experienced religious trauma.
