I have been a marriage and family therapist for over 25 years. I have worked with marriage and family issues as well as mental health issues throughout that time. I have been in private practice for over 15 years and thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and the clients that I work with.

Hello - I'm Michele and I've been in practice for the last 16 years working with children and families first in teen crisis center, residential housing for severe and persistent mentally ill adults, as a school counselor in both elementary and middle school setting and then in community mental health. These experiences have given me understanding of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and social pressures. I understand that many of these issues impair a person's functioning at home, school, and with their friends. I've been told that I'm both playful, insightful, and yet straightforward in my approach to therapy.

Kristi enjoys working with people of all ages and in all stages of life, including adults, teenagers, and couples. She is interested in supporting those who are struggling with trauma, depression, questions of self-identity, anxiety, and relationships, as well as a variety of other life challenges. She has experience working with adolescents and adults with suicidal ideation and self-harm tendencies, and those who have had a history of trauma and abuse. She has also been trained in Crisis Intervention and is interested in working with first responders.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Idaho and Texas, with an associate level license in Utah. I work with individuals, couples, and families with the goal of helping you experience increased mental health and connection in your relationships. I have experience working with trauma, abuse, depression/anxiety, ADHD, personality disorders, addiction, spiritual/religious concerns, and relationship distress. I also have extensive experience working with families and couples. I take a relational approach with my clients and help them to address their concerns with their context in mind.

I believe therapy is the ultimate form of bravery and vulnerability. Those who engage in treatment with me will find I take a client centered, trauma informed approach to therapy. Meaning, that our therapeutic relationship is of the utmost importance to me and I will pull from a variety of methodologies in order to tailor your treatment to your unique situation. I have found that clients who succeed in therapy are those willing to invite their true selves into the room regardless of what they might be feeling, thinking, or experiencing. By doing so, this allows full understanding of their issues and growth towards sustainable joy.

My approach to therapy is non-judgemental, compassionate and empathetic. It is important for me to create a safe place for you to come and share what you are experiencing. My goal is to build a trusting relationship that you can feel comfortable to come back to whenever life becomes difficult. Life can throw several different challenges our way and it can be difficult to navigate those challenges. Through visiting with me, you will find support and someone who will be there to guide you through the challenges you are experiencing.

I've worked extensively with trauma survivors to help them find healing from their past, and to begin creating a life worth living for themselves in the present. I am particularly interested in helping clients cope with chronic pain and shame and enjoy working with individuals on all walks of spiritual journeys and faiths.

Life is challenging, change is difficult and joy is obtainable. I love to work with parents, families, and individuals to improve understanding and increase connections in our relationships with each other. I enjoy implementing my 20+ years of clinical psychotherapy experience with each client to increase goal attainment and decrease distress during the change process.

Using a person-centered approach, I work with adults and children ages seven and up for individual counseling. I have a passion for working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, to provide a space for these individuals to process through the specific challenges they may be facing. I have been practicing in the field of mental health since 1989. I work with adults and offer both individual and couples counseling. I provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can expect to experience empathy, along with meaningful connection. Hi my name is Jill and I have over 25 years of counseling experience. I have worked with people of all ages treating them for a variety of mental health issues. Currently, I prefer to work with children and adults. My training is focused on helping people heal from the many experiences and issues of life including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, attachment disorders, suicidal ideation, domestic violence, addiction, divorce, transitions, and grief and loss issues. I have extensive training and experience in treating all of these issues and more. Creating a trusted relationship with my clients is very important to me.

As a psychotherapist I enjoy helping people who have not found the assistance they need from other professionals. I focus on understanding the real causes of suffering, not just symptoms or a diagnosis. I value the complexity of the mind and work carefully with my patients to tailor each treatment approach to their specific and unique needs. I do not simply assume what you need, instead we collaborate together. Psychotherapy can be profoundly meaningful and I have experience helping people from a wide variety of backgrounds. I also use Neurofeedback therapy and qEEG (brain mapping) assessments to inform my clinical practice.

As a counselor, I believe in having self-compassion as we all try and navigate the human condition. Life throws challenges at us that, at times, feel overwhelming and seem insurmountable. Be it unhealthy relationship dynamics, absence of intimacy and loving connection, loneliness and isolation, or loss of motivation, I believe that each individual has the capacity to overcome difficult circumstances and improve their relationships with commitment from themselves and their partner.

I have experience and training in working with married and non-married couples on a wide variety of relational concerns such as: general marital, pre-marital and post-marital issues; conflict resolution, sexual health, relationship abuse, dating problems, etc. I am also very open and excited to work with individuals who are confronting faith crisis/transition, sexual concerns, traumatic life experience, leadership concerns, as well as many other common mental health struggles. Additionally, I have a special and personal interest in helping first-responders with any issues they may be facing.
