My approach is rooted in a strengths-based, person centered, and solution focused perspective.
Hi! I'm Aubrey and I'm so happy you're here. I find deep meaning and fulfillment helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, attachment, issues, and difficult life transitions. After counseling clients for over a decade(!) I understand the importance of authentic, accepting, and approachable support. I aim to be that for everyone I work with. My past clients would tell you that working with me means being part of a helping relationship that is built on real talk and straight-up honesty. No stuffy and detached conversation here. Only down-to-earth communication and the freedom to be yourself.

No matter your circumstance, psychotherapy can have a positive impact on your life and your relationships. It is my hope to act as a guide for those that are ready to achieve healing in their lives. I seek to work collaboratively with clients to explore the best tools for each unique situation. While I am competent in using ACT, DBT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Brief therapy, Somatic and Polyvagal Therapy, working with me is more than a manual. I know each client has a unique modality or evidence based practice that will be the best fit.

Life can be difficult... Stress from work, relationships, and other life experiences may leave a person feeling alone or lacking support. This stress often has adverse and unwanted effects on overall well-being and is important to address. The counseling relationship provides an opportunity to be supported in a safe environment with a counselor who is open, responsive, and accepting of you and your lived experiences. Counseling can be seen as a relational tool in working towards the life you've been wanting for yourself, whether it looks like managing mental health symptoms or realizing your goals.
