I enjoy helping individuals to identify undesirable patterns of behavior that do not serve them. Together we address the roots of these issues in order to increase self-agency and overcome emotional blocks. I also enjoy facilitating creative people in realizing their fuller potential and authenticity. Whether you are seeking a safe place to be heard and process feelings, a desire for greater self-awareness, or to access deeper sources of creativity, we will work together to set goals and understand the underlying issues that inform current life complications. I approach each session with empathy, compassion and practicality.
I draw on different areas of expertise including cutting edge modalities and evidence based approaches, as well as relational, psychoanalytic, somatic, Jungian and other depth-oriented methods. I hold an MA in Counseling from Pacifica Graduate Institute. My background is in the arts and I have a BFA in Theater.
I have worked with individuals and couples at Counseling West in Sherman Oaks and at The Studio School in DTLA. I also worked as a high school counselor at Champs Charter School in Van Nuys. Please feel free to reach out for a free phone consultation. My fee is 180 a session but I am also able to offer a lower sliding scale fee if necessary.
