I am Erin, a compassionate therapist dedicated to fostering growth and resilience. Guided by a person-centered, strengths-based philosophy, I specialize in weaving play therapy techniques, sand tray, and cognitive-behavioral therapy into our therapeutic journey. I empower clients to understand and reshape their thought patterns. My utilization of play therapy techniques and sand tray facilitates a unique and effective approach, especially with younger clients or those who find traditional talk therapy challenging.

Accepting NEW Clients (Telehealth & In-Person) As a mental health therapist, and a former police officer, I have over 15 years of combined experience in law enforcement and clinical counseling, and a unique perspective to life challenges. My mission is to make a positive impact and a difference in the lives of my clients by creating a safe and comfortable environment where they can explore, grow, and heal. I am passionate about supporting and enhancing the mental health and well-being of individuals, couples, families, college students, first responders (active/retired), and military veterans (active/retired).

I work with individuals from preteen through older adulthood in individual psychotherapy, family therapy (including parenting strategies), couples therapy, & skill seminars. I have over twenty five years of experience serving children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. I have worked in inpatient and partial hospital settings as a therapist and clinical director in Des Moines, Omaha Nebraska and Glenwood, Iowa. I have worked in residential care as a clinician and program coordinator for the treatment of children, adolescents and their families in Des Moines. I have spent the past eighteen years in private practice.
