Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is licensed in Illinois and New York State. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University in New York City and am also a Columbia University graduate (B.A. in Psychology). I have over 20 years' of experience helping people manage anxiety (panic, phobias, obsessions and compulsions, trauma), depression, interpersonal/relationship/workplace issues, and anger. I use CBT and mindfulness/stress management to help clients overcome challenges and make their lives and relationships better.
I work with adults from 18 to 99, men, and women, of various backgrounds and orientations. I use cognitive behavioral and mindfulness/stress management psychotherapy approaches as well as assertiveness and conflict avoidance/anger management to help people make positive changes in their lives and relationships.
I have many years of experience helping people who are trying to improve their lives, situations, and/or relationships. Often, anxiety, depressive symptoms, relationship histories, impulsivity/anger issues, and career choices can make coping with the many challenges of life more difficult.
