I am an LCSW with 8 years of clinical experience. I have worked with a very diverse group of clients in several different practice settings. I began my clinical journey working with children and adolescents in a residential facility and then spent 3 years working in corrections. I have since worked in outpatient and inpatient settings with a wide variety of individuals. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from many different cultures and backgrounds. My therapeutic style is integrative as I believe that interventions should be based on client needs and circumstances.
Although I implement interventions from nearly all theories I pull mostly from CBT, DBT, Narrative, Behavioral, and Solution Focused theories. I am also EMDR trained. I pride myself on being openminded, relatable, and understanding.
I enjoy pushing my clients to work hard in order to get the most out of therapy and believe that the most important part of the therapeutic process is the relationship between therapist and client. I strive to be what each of my client's need and hope that I can be that for you as well!
