My commitment to mental health is deeply rooted in my experience growing up as an immigrant and witnessing how adaptive and resilient people can be, especially if we muster our forces to support and lift one another. I genuinely believe that my clients are the experts in their lives. I am here to hear your story in hopes of providing practical tools and insights to navigate life bumps better and celebrate achievements. My style of therapy is a non-hierarchical relationship, collaborative, and provides a space where making errors is acceptable.
I have completed two post-graduate fellowships at Boston Children’s Hospital ( Harvard Medical School) and advanced clinical practice for Adults certificate at Boston College. My experiences have been working with transitions, LGBTQ+,depression, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, acculturative stress, and folks who may hold marginalized identities.
I strive to be eclectic and find the style that meets clients' needs. If you are looking for a therapist- feel free to request a 15-minute free consult to see if we are a good match!
Additionally, I provide clinical supervision for folks working closely with immigrant/refugee populations and young people.
