I have a passion for working with couples providing relationship counseling as well as families and individuals. I enjoy helping people who may be going through a difficult season or life changes, are experiencing stress/anxiety, grief/loss, family conflict and/or communication issues, or need help improving self-esteem, healthy relationships and life satisfaction. My desire is to walk with my clients in their journey to discover new communication skills, resiliency in coping through challenges, and exploring strengths and values to enrich relationships.
I have been an independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist through Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Licensing since 2009 and have training in in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy. I worked for 23 years in child welfare and community mental health working with families, couples, and children.
