When you are experiencing it, it is overwhelming and isolating.
I am a trauma informed therapist, meaning I will look at the difficulties you are experiencing through the lens of how the symptoms developed as an adaptation to your environment. I employ interventions such as parts work and brainspotting to create changes in the subcortical brain where the knowings from your past and trauma are being held.
