Children and adolescents often develop challenging behaviors as a way of expressing their inner thoughts and feelings that they don't have the words to explain. I help give youth a voice through creating a trusting environment where they feel safe to explore emotions, share thoughts, and develop solutions. I use unique interventions tailored to your child's strengths in order to foster a space where they feel supported and motivated to change.
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families. I provide individual and family therapy, play therapy, and parenting support for children with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. I believe that all behaviors have a purpose and support parents with effectively understanding, responding, and connecting with their children.
Other areas of interest include supporting young adults and adults with issues related to trauma, self-esteem and body image, relationship issues, anger management, anxiety, and depression. I am a compassionate and supportive therapist who will empower clients to grow, find hope, and cope with new challenges.
