I focus on helping clients of all ages and backgrounds heal their pain, overcome their challenges, develop their strengths, resources and resilience and accomplish their goals. I have 30 years experience with children and adults in individual, couples, family and parent/child modalities.
My training includes psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, systems, Schema, EMDR, DBT, ACT, Trauma Focused CBT, Exposure/response prevention for OCD and social anxiety, Divorce Mediation/ coparenting/ step-parenting solutions, CBT-I for Insomnia and counseling for Grief /Bereavement, including perinatal loss.
I'm passionate about helping all parents (including single, divorced, remarried/step-parents, adoptive parents, special needs/chronic illness) bond with their children and parent optimally, especially when they lacked a positive parent-child relationship themselves, growing up.
