As a social worker, I have worked in a variety of settings with various populations giving me a well-rounded approach to mental health treatment. I specialize in anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, mood disorders, life transitions, and women’s issues.
I recognize developing a relationship with a new clinician and opening up about life’s challenges can be intimidating and often can keep some from entering treatment. I provide a confidential and non-judgmental environment in which you can feel supported while sharing your thoughts, feelings, and desires. My approach to therapy starts with you.
Each individual’s treatment is different and tailored to their specific needs. Most frequently I utilize CBT, mindfulness, person centered therapy, strength based therapy, and solution-focused therapy in my approach to treatment. I am hopeful that through our collaboration you can live a life full of joy, happiness, and freedom from past traumas.
