Aloha kākou. My name is Claudia and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing clinical services to individuals and couples. I am licensed as a clinical social worker in the state of California and Hawaii. My years of experience include treating PTSD, depression, anxiety and substance use disorders with various diverse cultures, to include the military population.

I have lived and worked in Hawaii for over 30 years, first working on Kauai, and for the past 25 years on Oahu. I am the first clinically licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State. I specialize in relationship counseling, but have significant experience and expertise in helping those with depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, and parent-adolescent issues. I see individuals, couples, and families in treatment. I am a teacher and supervisor of those studying to become marriage and family therapists. I teach Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Hawaii.

Dr. Robert Storey obtained his B.A. in Liberal Arts at Washington and Lee University as a Philosophy major, minoring in Sociology. He obtained a Masters in Guidance and Psychological Services at Springfield College and was awarded his Doctorate in Educational Psychology ( Ed.D) while studying at American International University. He began his clinical internship in 1986 under the auspices of distinguished Dr. Frank Sacco, a protege of Karl Menninger with tutelage by Anna Freud. Dr. Sacco came from a long lineage of psychodynamic pioneers and Dr. Storey was privileged to be part of this tradition of groundbreaking psychologists.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and substance use counselor with over 12 years of experience as an Oahu-based social worker/therapist. I have worked with clients with varied concerns, including trauma responses, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, managing life stress/problems, and other mental health providers facing compassion fatigue and burnout.
