I am a licensed clinical social worker and substance use counselor with over 12 years of experience as an Oahu-based social worker/therapist. I have worked with clients with varied concerns, including trauma responses, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, managing life stress/problems, and other mental health providers facing compassion fatigue and burnout. I focus on nervous system regulation. My counseling style is warm and interactive. and I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion without stigmatizing labels.

Being born and raised in Hawaii and going through the public school system made me aware of the challenges we all face at various stages in our lives. Whether it is anxiety from life transitions, low self-esteem that became depression, or behavioral issues that lead to diagnoses, I'd like to help you improve your quality of life and find your true self. We will look at where the current view of yourself and others came from and how this has impacted your ability to emotionally regulate in stressful situations. Together, we will figure out the goals that you want to achieve and a guide on how to get there.

I have over 25 years of experience training and working in the behavioral health field. I believe counseling can give an individual and family the necessary support, insight, motivation, strength, and skills to adapt, change for the better, and find their true self. I provide individual, family, group counseling, and social skills groups. My specialty areas are individuals with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Anxiety, and Depression.
