Outside stressors can so easily become internal struggles if we let them fester--so, it's important to know when to reach out for support and help. I work with clients of all faiths, backgrounds, and orientations who need guidance and support as they navigate the pitfalls, transitions, and obstacles that are part of the human condition and journey. I specialize in depression, anxiety, transitions, play therapy, and relational issues; however, I also have extensive experience helping those with past and current substance abuse.

My ideal clients seek science-based and culturally appropriate assessments to understand their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges. As a clinical neuropsychologist, I assess thinking skills in those diagnosed with a medical condition and/or those who have learning, attention, and behavioral challenges. I conduct comprehensive assessments that are specific to my client's challenges and provide tailored recommendations for schools/colleges, medical teams, and third-party sources. I believe in understanding each client's story and tailoring my assessment and recommendations to meet a client's specific needs.

I believe that beneath every symptom that creates our suffering is a wise, healthy, and whole Self yearning to break free of old shackles and guide us home to the person we are meant to be. In this way, I help clients to reconceptualize their issues as road signs that are guiding them on their path of healing; just the same way that physical symptoms like a fever or ache directs us to an ailment that needs addressing, so too do psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, or addictions, point to a deeper underlying wound that is calling to be healed. Our goal is to not simply survive, but thrive.

Making the decision to seek out therapy and then finding the right therapist can be a challenging one. You may feel stuck in a relationship, at work, or in the past. You may feel alone, disconnected and struggling with the many challenges of life. Everyone struggles at times and everyone deserves to be seen and understood. Therapy provides a space to process your feelings and experiences. This work allows for different perspectives and you will begin to see yourself and the world in a more positive light. Instead of feeling disconnected and out of control, you will be more present, connected and able to better manage life.
