As a result of my training, I work with children, adolescents, and adults to increase self awareness and insight providing and building healthy skills and coping techniques. I focus on creating a safe, collaborative, open environment, and believe that the therapeutic environment is one of the key elements of treatment.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My practice approach includes cognitve behavioral therapy and a client centered approach. My experience has allowed me to work in both mental health and substance abuse settings, with extensive experience working with individuals and families living affected by domestic violence.
