As a counselor, I’ve helped clients with the transition from homelessness to temporary housing and navigate the many mental and behavioral challenges that are involved in that process. Prior to counseling, I have over 15 years working in finance and technology in fast paced high stress environments that could lead to unhealthy coping patterns. As a child of first-generation immigrants, I’ve faced many obstacles around acculturation and identity issues around my family’s origin versus the new culture of America.
My goal as a therapist is to help clients feel empowered and equipped with resources to help limit the harmful impact of thoughts, actions, or feelings that have been a detriment in their lives.
I take a collaborative approach in my work with clients to develop a treatment plan that will position clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. I work with teens, adults, and couples.
