My approach to therapy - A relationship built on trust and empathy is key to healing. I believe in providing a person-centered and non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere that starts with building rapport. Many parts of our identity contribute to our perceptions and we’ll work together to identify those so you can have a personalized treatment. I believe in a culturally sensitive approach to both assessment and treatment is important.
I meet my clients where they are and then we begin our journey together. I believe in a person-centered, collaborative, and holistic approach. Building trust, and using humor is core to healing. I specialize in trauma treatment and use CBT and EMDR.
I like to provide a warm and non-judgmental space where you feel understood and validated. I have a collaborative approach in session and create a space where you can feel safe. I will challenge you when needed, though!
