Hello there! My ideal client is aware that therapy is work and most of the change occurs in between sessions by practicing skills you learn with me. I am someone who will meet you with compassion, but will also hold you accountable for your behaviors. I will show up as a real person who will laugh and joke with you, but I will also hold your emotional pain until you are ready to hold onto it on your own. I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and cultural issues. I will re-direct you back towards valued living while also helping you change the relationship with your thoughts and feelings so you are more accepting of your experience just as it is. I also offer Gottman Couples Therapy.
