Life can and often does present us with challenges which create distress and make it difficult for us to feel satisfied. It can be very helpful to speak with a well-trained, experienced, and supportive person when facing such challenges. Whether you are looking for extra support during a stressful period of time or you are interested in focusing on longstanding difficulties, I offer to create a space that promotes symptom relief and results in greater awareness, satisfaction, confidence, and fulfillment.
My therapy style is one of collaboration, respect, non-judgment, genuineness, and supportive challenge. I pay particular attention to your strengths and supports and aim to help you use those assets to create and maintain a more satisfying life experience. I adjust my approach and techniques to best address your concerns, comfort level, and personality.
I ultimately aim to help you to experience relief from distress, to identify and understand the source of your struggles and to make informed decisions about what to do with this new awareness. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I welcome your inquiries.

Interpersonal Therapy Group
A colleague and I offer a long-term psychotherapy group. This group offers a safe space to share your experience with others and to try out being more honest and authentic about your thoughts, feelings, and reactions to others. This experience can and often does foster a greater and deeper understanding of how your beliefs, way of being, and moment-to-moment perceptions relate to how you connect with others and how they connect with you. You then have the opportunity to decide and practice doing relationships differently in order to achieve more satisfying, connected, and healthy connections.
