I am a firm believer that relationships are a true catalyst for healing and growth, and I would be honored to work with you. It has been said that brokenness and healing happen in relationships. The key to this is in the health and safety of a securely attached, bonded relationship. One of my goals is to help you have these life-giving relationships. I enjoy working with kids, teens, individuals, couples and families to better understand themselves (self-awareness) and others (other-awareness) to really thrive in their life, within a creative, nonjudgmental and empathetic therapeutic relationship.
One technique that I utilize to specifically help people heal is EMDR. EMDR is a well-researched and highly effective treatment for trauma that utilizes eye movements to reprocess and desensitize painful experiences.
I am passionate about helping people celebrate and live out their strengths and unique self. Fostering positive change in a warm, non-threatening and welcoming environment that allows clients to freely express themselves, also, knowing that they will be heard, seen and validated in their life story.
