Heidi is Licensed Independent Social Worker and a trauma informed, EMDR trained therapist. Heidi is skilled in working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, interpersonal relationship struggles, grief/loss, and life transitions. Heidi considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals, couples and families as they seek to nurture healing and resilience.
Heidi utilizes a collaborative, strengths-based approach, and incorporates psychoeducation and evidence-based practices that best fit each unique client’s circumstances. Heidi regularly incorporates embodiment and mindfulness based self-compassion practices that promote wholeness, from a polyvagal informed perspective.
Heidi draws from her experience working in a variety of settings including community mental health, school-based counseling, home-based therapy and as a parenting education trainer.
