I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Arizona and my Master’s Degree in Social Worker from Arizona State University. I have over six years of experience working in the mental health field with adults and adolescents in various settings such as psychiatric hospitals, emergency clinics, and outpatient mental health facilities. I have also had the honor and privilege of working in hospice care for over six years, focusing on the comfort and quality of life of a person with a severe illness.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a strength-based approach and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients feel safe and at ease to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. The goal of therapy is to help the client live a more fulfilled, functional, and happier life by helping them deal with their thoughts, emotions, and daily stress.
