I work psychodynamically to help explore, work through intrusive troublesome memories, in order to resolve them, heal and move on. I work with cognitive behavioral techniques to assist with problem solving of here-and-now conflicts at work and/or in interpersonal behavioral relationships. For the past 23 years I have worked with clients in recovery from substance abuse and other addictive disorders. I combine 12 step philosophies with other helpful treatment modalities to facilitate recovery.
In addition, being active in the performing arts all of my life I specialize in helping artists with issues of performance anxiety, career planning, how to advocate for oneself, and how to fulfill the passion they have for their chosen art form.
