I believe in humanistic philosophy. People have room to grow in order to fulfill their life yearnings. However, many life experiences possibly block that potential and these blocks show as depression, anxiety, and many other symptoms. I want to be with people to assist in the enrichment of their lives. Individuals need to be healthy in various levels to share their lives in a family and a community. We can explore together to find what is interfering in life and enrich them to reach true potentials.
I use systems theory with humanistic view to analyze people's inner, interpersonal, and social relationships and help them to find their identity. New identity helps people to connect with others differently and it makes positive behavioral changes as well. In addition, I provide EMDR therapy for people who struggle with various traumas to move forward.
I believe counseling is a form of art just like a dance. The dance can be difficult, but also it can be fun. We can dance together and find a comfortable tune for you.
