I offer an adaptive approach to counseling as I recognize the needs of each individual is unique. I work from a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral approach and convey a warm, empathetic, and down to earth style. I support my clients by increasing comfortability as they navigate through uncertain, anxiety-provoking experiences as I utilize evidence-based interventions and provide a safe space for exploration. My approach embodies my understanding towards the importance of meeting people where they are in their journey and to help them utilize and build-upon their strengths and skills to navigate new and stressful situations.
I work with a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, panic, parenting concerns, grief, trauma, life adjustments, relationship concerns, and my years as a birth/postpartum doula have given me a unique skill set into understanding and helping expecting/new mothers transition into and understand this new role in their life.
Any form of change is hard, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and emotions associated with lifestyle adjustments/coping with new circumstances. We work together to identify new strategies of dealing with such circumstances and placing you on the path to be and feel like the version of yourself you envision.
