As a dually trained clinical social worker and marriage and family therapist, I believe in the power of relationships and how our external environment impacts our feelings about ourselves. As a therapist who focuses on social construction, I work with individuals on managing anxiety and the expectations we have for ourselves. Particularly for women, society can oftentimes place expectations on us and we have to figure out how to balance so many things in our lives - trying to please everyone.
However, normally the person at the center of it is often neglected. In our sessions, we will focus on developing a stronger sense of who you are by creating a safe space to reflect, heal and grow through compassion, understanding and evidence-based techniques.
