I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families to help them with emotional disorders. I use games and toys to help clients feel more at ease during sessions. I use person-centered therapy to assist children, teens, and young adults how to learn manage their emotions, learn calm down strategies, and work with their depressive/anxious symptoms. ADHD skills training and Autism social/sensory skills are also offered. Ages 5-30.
As a child therapist, I utilize play, humor, and fun activities to connect with children of all ages and their caregivers. I work with families to develop communication skills, positive parenting practices, and behavior management strategies to ease the distress within the home and help families return to a state of comfort and connection.
