Couples work with me for two primary reasons: 1) difficulty communicating well or resolving conflict effectively or 2) they've experienced infidelity or sexual addiction. I utilize the Gottman Relationship Checkup, which guides our work effectively. Most couples improve communication within 8-12 weeks. Couples working through infidelity often stay about 12-18 months.

I use the Gottman Relationship Checkup and our initial sessions will show us where to focus our efforts to accomplish your therapy goals. For individuals and couples working through infidelity or sex addiction, we focus on reestablishing stability, safety, and trust. I also use Blueprint for measurement-based care.
