I have 10+ years of experience of working with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, and addiction/substance use issues. I approach therapy by understanding what you feel needs to change, what life experiences you've had that contribute to your thought processes and patterns, and helping you rewrite the stories that you tell yourself about yourself.
What you want for yourself isn't out of reach or impossible, but it does take self reflection and willingness to delve into the why we do what we do. As someone who has been through the process of therapy, I understand it can be difficult.
