I have a passion for working with teens, young adults, and adults with trauma history, as I am trained in trauma-informed care. I offer a safe environment to explore your trauma history, sexuality, gender identity, personhood, religious trauma and to imagine a brighter future full. My philosophy of therapy is that everyone can benefit from therapy and you are an individual worthy of respect, wholeness, and support on your journey. I accept and celebrate what makes you an individual. I have a background in working with teens in the school system, child welfare, LGBTQIA+ teens and adults.
I specialize in a variety of trauma-focus therapeutic approaches specific to each client's needs, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and geek therapy to help clients decrease trauma responses and and begin to utilize strengths for healing.
My sessions focus on helping each client grow and thrive by decreasing trauma symptoms and starting the healing process. Most of my clients really enjoy EMDR and find reprocessing through the use of bilateral stimulation to be extremely helpful and report a decrease in symptoms within the first 60 days.
