As a licensed psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and couples, I work with clients to help manage the feelings associated with life's struggles; recognize, understand and change self-defeating patterns; heal past pain; discover and foster inner strength; and learn new ways to cope that allow a person to get what they want and feel good about themselves.
My therapy style focuses on the specific needs of the client. It may be short term therapy to deal with a specific problem or more extensive treatment to help gain insight into long term dysfunctional patterns and issues. I am committed to helping my clients reach their personal goals.
In addition to my general therapy practice, I have specialized training in Pregnancy and Postpartum Depression and Anxiety; Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Grief work.
