Groups
Art Therapy
The purpose of the Art Therapy groups are to increase comfort with socialization, provide psychoeducation about diagnoses to increase understanding, have a safe place to discuss topics on interests and needs, practice mindfulness, practice effective communication, and use art to increase insight and mindfulness about symptoms and coping skills, which has been effective in improving moods and decreasing stress, creating a sense of community, and a family away from family. There are separate groups for adults and children, but unfortunately I am not running any art groups currently.

Coping Skills Group
This telehealth group provides a platform for people to come together to discuss stressors, struggles, and learn new skills to work through anxiety, depression, and what ever the group wants to bring to the table to address. I will use mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, and motivational interviewing approaches to empower group members to use each other for support, recognize patterns, and learn new skills and alternative tips to help reduce overall stressors and improve moods. If interested we can use art, meditative practices, or other alternative modailities to help increase coping skills, increase stress reduction, and improve moods.
