I believe that a listening ear and a non-judgmental approach goes a long way in helping individuals find their way back to their best selves. For the last four years I have worked with children, teens, families, couples, and individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, as well as general life challenges. I provide a safe and inclusive space for exploring difficulties you may be facing within yourself or your relationships. I am currently an associate of marriage family therapy nearing licensure.
I have been trained, and regularly use, Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address past trauma. I am experienced in teaching modules of DBT which has shown helpful in reducing emotional distress and improving communication issues. I am also a certified Nurtured Heart Approach trainer, focused on improving parent/child relationships.
