I am a graduate of Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Couples, Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, I received a Bachelor of Applied Science from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi in Community and Mental Health with a Minor in Psychology and an Associate of Applied Science from Del Mar College in Human Services with an emphasis in Addiction Studies.
My professional experience has created the ability to become technically eclectic and well-versed in many theoretical orientations in an effort to accommodate the varying and diverse individual needs of clients. While I am naturally rooted in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, I maintain a Humanistic and Strengths Based approach at my core.
I have worked with a wide variety of clients from children to older adults, and all ages in between, treating various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders and complex trauma. I also provide couples and family therapy.
